Dartington Pottery owed it’s design rennaissance in 1983 to Janice Tchalenko. Now she has again made an adventurous statement for Dartington by adding her unique insight to their design initiative.
Janice Tchalenko started as a potter at the Leach School and has embraced the entire spectrum of ceramic issues.
Her sensational use of glazes and innovative form has won many accolades, one of the latest being the Laura Ashley Foundation prize for ceramics.
She is a fellow of the Royal College of Art and has had countless exhibitions including permanent displays at the Victoria & Albert Museum as well as major venues across the world.
